Lollypop Farm has joined the national competition among other animal shelters to see who can increase their number of cat and dog adoptions the most compared to last year. The winning shelter will receive a $100,000 grant from the ASPCA, and be able to boast a record increase in homeless pets adopted to loving homes. Help Lollypop Farm meet their goal of at least 500 more cat and dog adoptions from August through October! They will be running adoption specials throughout this period ... to learn more check out the Adoption Challenge page on their site! Even if you can't adopt right now, there are other ways you can help, including spreading the word via your social networks about the challenge and the wonderful animals like the below Pet of the Week that need forever homes. Lollypop Farm Pet of the Week Toby

Toby #9591388 Toby is a 4-year-old male cat who weighs nearly 16 pounds. He’s at Lollypop Farm for the second time, by no fault of his own. Originally, Toby came to Lollypop as a stray, and then he was adopted and returned because his owner’s landlord did not allow pets. This special boy has both his front and back paws declawed. He loves to give kisses and have his chin rubbed, but he isn’t too fond of having his back end touched! You can adopt Toby for just $13 through Friday, August 13th as part of our “13 Days to Change Their Luck” Adopt-a-Thon. Help change Toby’s luck today! Lolly, the dog from last week, was adopted! However, to see the other animals still waiting for forever homes, please check out the Adoptable Animals page on the Lollypop Farm website.
